New York City’s Harlem has always been a black community, an incubator of black culture, the birthplace of jazz, and a breeding ground for great
literary talent. Gentrification refers to the reinvention of an old part of a city so that the reformed area becomes more prosperous. The gentrification of Harlem added some new life to this old community.

Gentrification has brought many influences to people. For example, the good influence has greatly reduced the crime rate in Harlem, and the shabby buildings in Harlem have been turned into upscale communities.
In addition, the negative effects of gentrification include that many local residents had to leave Harlem because of the high housing prices, and many traditional buildings were destroyed.

So I wrote an article about the effect of Gentrification on people.
